Blinds & Shades
Looking for new blinds or shades? We will walk you through every step to find the perfect window treatment. We will define your lifestyle and aesthetic needs to determine the best shade/blind fit. We will discuss shade and blind styles, fabrics, valences, and everything in between.
The Process
Step One:
Discovery Call
During the call, we get to know each other, establish your needs and goals for the project, and discuss timeline and expectations. If Luxe is a good fit for your project, we schedule an in-home consultation from there.
Step Two:
Consultation
This consultation lasts anywhere from 2-3 hours based on your needs and scale of the project. We discuss the project scope in depth, look through products and swatches, and will take measurements and photos. Whether or not you decide to move forward with Luxe for your project, our designers are happy to provide any recommendations and discuss any questions you might have within the three hour window. Consultations for blinds and shades are free.
Step Three:
The Quote
Following the consultation, we will put together a preliminary estimate with all optioned styles, fabrics, and operating choices. It will include individual window pricing. After reviewing the quote, we will meet again to discuss any updated selections and take final measurements. We will then prepare a final quote before placing the order.
Drapery
Looking for custom drapery? We will find inspiration, look through sample fabrics, and discuss various aspects of window dressing such as paneling, hardware, pleats, optional treatments and more to discover what best suits you and your home.

For drapery, this consultation lasts anywhere from 2-4 hours based on your needs and scale of the project. We discuss the project scope in depth, look through fabric swatches and hardware samples, and will take measurements and photos. It is often required to have more than one consultation, as there are extensive fabric and style options. Design fees apply to drapery consultations.
Step Three:
The Quote
Following the consultation, we will put together a preliminary estimate with all window fabric yardages, hardware, and labor. After reviewing the quote, we will meet again to discuss any updated selections and take final measurements. We will then prepare a final quote before placing the order.
